John Carr is writer, cartoonist, and performance poet.
As a writer John has had over 40 books published in 10 countries, mainly for children's literacy
programmes.
John currently produces a regular cartoon for Straight Furrow, a major weekly newspaper for the rural sector in New Zealand.
In 2009 John won the "Poetry Idol" competition at the Auckland Readers and Writers Festival and has since performed his humorous poems to a wide variety of audiences around New Zealand.
John welcomes enquiries about his services as a performance poet, public speaker, and cartoonist.
